Abstract

In recent years, growing recognition of educational disparities between rural and urban areas has underscored the persistent challenges hindering rural educational development. Despite technological strides, the digital divide persists, limiting access to quality resources. Virtual Reality (VR) technology emerges as a solution, bridging this gap by offering immersive learning environments. VR addresses rural education challenges like inadequate infrastructure and teacher shortages, fostering experiential learning and transcending geographical barriers. It aims to provide equitable access to quality education, nurturing critical thinking and empowering rural students. Our work involves creating a VR application simulating a physics laboratory, allowing students to experiment with Newton's laws of motion and the spring constant. This project envisions a future where VR enables holistic learning experiences, narrowing the educational gap and driving socio-economic development in rural areas.
